Our own software

We run our own businesses on this software.

Anyone can say they build good software. These two are ours - open right now, taking real payments, on the same M-PESA setup we would build into yours. Click them. They either work or they do not.

Zana Billing, collections & reconciliation

The operating system for recurring revenue

If you bill the same customers every month, Zana is the system you run it on. Raise the invoice, collect it by M-PESA, card, or bank, chase whoever has not paid, and pay your own suppliers - all on one ledger, so what a customer owes you is always a single number.

The reconciliation nobody else does

Upload the M-PESA or bank statement you already get - CSV, Excel, or a scanned PDF. Zana reads every deposit, proposes the invoice it settles, and leaves only what it cannot prove for a person to decide. Re-uploading an overlapping statement never double-posts a payment.

What is inside

  • Branded invoices with M-PESA and card pay links
  • Metered billing with tiered tariffs and billing runs
  • Statement reconciliation from M-PESA and bank PDFs
  • Recurring plans that raise and send themselves
  • Bulk SMS and WhatsApp with delivery tracking
  • Supplier payouts with approvals and daily limits

SiteBooks Construction project management

Build with confidence, manage with clarity

Construction management for contractors and the diaspora clients paying for the build. Time-stamped site photos, budgets tracked against the BOQ, milestone payments, and M-PESA payroll for casuals - so a client in London can see what happened on site this afternoon.

Built for builds you cannot visit

The hard problem in construction here is not scheduling - it is trust across eight time zones. SiteBooks is shaped around that: a foreman logs progress in under a minute on 3G, and the person paying for it reviews the evidence from their phone before bed.

Operated by Mjengo Technologies LTD, built and run by the Noria team.

What is inside

  • Project dashboard with live timelines and status
  • Budget tracked against the BOQ, not a spreadsheet
  • Time-stamped daily site photos
  • Milestone-based payment tracking
  • M-PESA payroll for casual workers
  • Reports a client abroad can actually read

Why we run our own software

You do not learn this on somebody else's project

When it is your own, you are the one awake at 2am when payments stop coming through. That teaches you things you never learn from finishing a job and moving on, and it is why we can be specific about what actually breaks.

We hit the sharp edges before you do Every payment that came in twice, every one that went missing, every month-end that did not add up - all of it was ours to fix, on our own time and our own money. We do not need to learn it again on your job.
Our own money rides on it Zana bills our own customers. If the numbers are wrong, we are the ones who cannot invoice anybody. That focuses the mind more than any contract.
Sometimes the honest answer is to buy, not build If Zana already does what you were about to pay for, we will point you at a few thousand shillings a month instead of quoting you for a build. We would rather have the small monthly payment and your trust.

Want something like these for your business?

Both of these started as a problem somebody described to us on a phone call. Tell us yours and we will come back with what would fix it, how long, and what it costs.
